Evaluations
For those local to the Dallas Fort Worth area, we offer three levels of affordable evaluations in the convenience of your home. Call Sharper Minds at 866-435-7233 to discuss your situation and see which evaluation may be best for your family’s needs.
For those long distance from DFW, a detailed phone conversation may be adequate to determine which of our program options would be the best fit for your family.
Basic Evaluation
For younger children, homeschooled students or where the family wants to know what their child is struggling with, but doesn't need a detailed report. You are actively participating in the evaluation process and will clearly understand what you or your child is dealing with by the end of the ~4-hour appointment. A checkbox type report sheet with explanation pages is provided. If married, both parents must participate.
Fee: $345 total including a $100 deposit.

Basic with Detailed Report
Similar to the Basic Evaluation, but with a detailed customized report specifying the issues that the student is struggling with and recommending accommodations for the school. Best for students in elementary, middle or early high school where the school needs a detailed report.
Fee: $495 total including a $100 deposit.
Comprehensive with Diagnosis Codes and very detailed Report
For high school or college students or adults who need accommodations for classes or standardized tests such as the ACT / SAT, FINRA, etc. Testing is more detailed than for the Basic Evaluation, appointment lasts around 4 1/2 hours. The very detailed report and testing documents are discussed with Dr. Meelhuysen, the one who assembled the tests that we utilize, and she provides her insights, and affirms or adjusts the diagnosis and/or report as appropriate.
Fee: $695 total including a $100 deposit.
